After years on the trucks around here, the honest truth is that local knowledge saves you money. Northern suburbs and the coast

The northern strip is narrow streets and steep driveways. We almost always send the smaller truck up this way — it costs you the same hourly rate and saves a long carry from wherever the big one has to park. That’s covered in more detail on our house removals page.
Wollongong city and the western suburbs

Plenty of unit and townhouse moves through here. If you’re in a block with a lift, tell us when you book — we’ll sort the timing so you’re not paying us to wait for it. There’s more on that in our packing guide.
Dapto, Albion Park and the south

Bigger houses and longer runs down this end, so this is where getting the truck size right really matters. Ask us about cubic metres, not tonnes — a 20m³ truck with two blokes at our standard rate beats a cheaper 15m³ truck that has to come back for a second load. Southern Highlands
We run up the highlands regularly. It’s a longer trip, so booking a bit ahead gets you a better slot and a better price.

Frequently asked questions
Which suburbs does your Wollongong removalist team cover?
Every suburb listed on this page, plus most of the Illawarra and Southern Highlands. We’re based at 3/135 Keira Street, Wollongong, so anywhere between Helensburgh and Kiama is a short run for us. If you can’t see your suburb, just ask.
Do you charge more for suburbs further from Wollongong?
The hourly rate is the same wherever you are. What changes is travel time to and from our depot, which is quoted upfront so there are no surprises on the day. Longer runs like Bowral are worth booking early.
Can you do a move between two different suburbs?
Yes — most of our jobs are suburb-to-suburb. Moving from Corrimal to Shellharbour, or Figtree to Kiama, is all standard local work and charged at the normal hourly rate.
Do I need to be there on moving day?
Someone should be, or a person you trust with a key and your phone number. We’d rather have someone to ask than guess which boxes go in which room.
